Our desserts tend to combine our freshly made bakery produce with our ice cream – a marriage of the two G&D’s production centres, Bakery and Ice cream. Ice cream sundaes make for an indulgent treat, with a base of a home-made brownie or a waffle made on the spot. We put a scoop of ice cream on top, your choice of sauce on top of that (hot chocolate fudge, maple syrup, or authentic Dulce de Leche), smother it all with cream and add a sprinkle of chopped nuts or chocolate strands to finish it off. For a banana split: minus the bakery product, add a banana and double the ice-cream! All of our sundaes are perfect for sharing, but you’d probably prefer one to yourself.
Another signature G&D’s dessert is the Cookie Monster. Think sandwich, but made from two home-made cookies (Dime; Double Chocolate; or Ginger, Oatmeal and Raisin) and a generous scoop of ice cream in the middle.
