Our Ice Cream
Ice Cream was the first thing on the menu and it remains at the heart of the business - it is the ultimate feel-good food. We are committed to making the best ice cream, with the highest quality creams, eggs, cane sugar and the finest natural flavours available (e.g. Mexican vanilla and Belgian chocolate).
Desserts
The only thing we feel can improve a scoop of our ice cream is having it served on a freshly cooked waffle or a warm chocolate brownie. With Hot fudge sauce, fresh cream nuts or maybe more chocolate…
Baked Goods
Made in the same spirit as our ice cream; our bakery items are made with the finest ingredients and no artificial flavours, preservatives or additives. Using basic high quality ingredients and simple recipes all of our bakery items are made on our Pembroke St bakery seven days a week.
Bagels
When we chose to expand our menu from simply ice cream and drinks to include food we wanted something really different. At the time when they were introduced to our menu back in 1992 they were pretty hard to come by… so much so we had to work with a local artisan baker to develop our own recipe.
Drinks
We serve a wide range of hot and cold drinks at G&D’s. From out ethically sourced coffee to our home made ice cream shakes we always try to push to boundaries of quality and service.
